Seng Hock & Emily celebrates their 31 years of marriage. They are blessed with 5 children ages 15 to 27. They served with YWAM from 1987 to 2001 in various roles and Seng Hock was the first Malaysian to serve as YWAM national director. He also served 2 years with Focus On The Family, Kuching. Emily oversees and coordinates five groups of Kuching Homemakers which are support groups learning about better marriage, parenting and making Christ known. Based in Sarawak for the last 14 years, they have conducted marriage and parenting camps and seminars for churches and private companies in Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar.

12noon – 3pm Lunch Session on Life in the Fast Lane

7pm -10pm Dinner Session on Potpourri in Your Home

THE MORNING AFTER - The exam results are out. Where did we do well? Where can we improve? This is the start of another season. God is giving us a new page to write.
As Irene & I prayed at the YMCA Chapel this morning, we ask the Lord for new energy and new synergy to serve. God bless and build up Malaysia! caption

GE 13 - "Stand & See"

If we have done our prayer homework, now is the time to pray less and praise more.  Consider that God said to Moses, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord which he will work for you today…the Lord will fight for you, and you have only  to be still”(Exodus 14:13-14).

Who will win? The one sure thing is God will win. 2 Corinthians 2:14 say “But thanks be to God who in Christ always lead us in triumph!”

What will be the result? Whatever the outcome, let us be ready for the worst case scenario, then we will be prepared for any scenario. For in Christ, we can do all things through the strength He mightily inspires with us (cf. Philippians 4:13).

Let us ask God for His plans to un-build, build and rebuild our beloved nation!

Now life and work in Malaysia can go on.

Praise to the Lord, the Almighty the King of Creation!

GE 13 Delay A Blessing?

As we prayed this morning, we sense the delay is permitted by the Lord for His people who are called by His Name to get our act together. The Lord is ready. He waits for us to be ready. I feel there is a need to free ourselves from any root of bitterness. The anger of man does not work the righteousness of God (James 1:20). We need to publish more of what God is doing instead of highlighting the activities of enemy. Let us share what the Lord is saying in our private and small group prayers.
